News: SPD responds to hit-and-run involving truck in Wallingford area

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday afternoon on Northeast 44th Street in north Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.

The incident unfolded in the 200 block of the road, near 2nd Avenue Northeast. Officers with the department’s North Precinct were called to the scene at around 2:32 p.m.

Details remain limited, but dispatchers indicated that a truck was involved in a crash in which at least one party fled the scene.

As of this writing, the SPD has not confirmed any injuries in connection to the event nor released a description of the suspect vehicle.
