SEATTLE, WA — One person was hospitalized late Tuesday morning following a rollover crash on Interstate 5 in southeast Seattle, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The collision unfolded on the northbound lanes south of I-90 (Exit 164), near the North Beacon Hill neighborhood. Seattle Fire Department crews were called to the scene at around 10:24 a.m.
Although officials have not released a sequence of events, responding firefighters had to rescue one patient after at least one vehicle overturned during a crash.

By 10:37 a.m., the trapped occupant was safely removed from the wreckage. After an evaluation at the scene, paramedics began transporting the patient to an area hospital just before 12:00 p.m.
NB I-5, just south of I-90: the patient is in stable condition and paramedics are transporting them to a hospital for further care. All other units are returning to service.
