SEATTLE, WA — One person was injured in a pedestrian collision Tuesday morning on 5th Avenue in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The incident unfolded at the intersection with Northeast 50th Street and was first reported by the SFD at 7:47 a.m. Crews were dispatched to the area shortly after.
Preliminary information indications a pedestrian was hit by a car and had to be rescued from underneath the vehicle. The patient was then rushed to an area hospital where they were listed in stable condition.

As of this writing, authorities continue to investigate the collision. Both vehicles were significantly impacted by the time of the crash.
