KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon had multiple lanes on northbound Interstate 405 blocked near Kirkland’s South Rose Hill area, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident impacted the northbound lanes at Northeast 70th Place and was first recorded by WSDOT at 2:50 p.m.
It’s unclear what caused the collision, but the WSDOT’s Incident Response Team, the Washington State Patrol, and local firefighters were all dispatched to the scene.
As many as three right lanes were closed as a result of the incident. Motorists were advised of heavy delays in the area.
