KING COUNTY, WA — Part of southbound Interstate 405 was blocked Tuesday morning in north Kirkland due to a rollover collision, according to KOMO News.

The accident happened on the southbound lanes approaching Exit 20 to Northeast 124th Street, near the Totem Lake West shopping center. It was first reported by the Washington State Department of Transportation at 9:10 a.m.

Preliminary details from Washington State Patrol (WSP) Trooper Rick Johnson indicates one of the involved vehicles rolled and came to rest against a barrier and on top of another vehicle.

As of this writing, officials have not disclosed any information about the conditions of those involved.

All general purpose lanes on the southbound interstate were shut down for nearly 30 minutes following the initial report, but the toll lanes were open to all motorists as crews processed the crash site.
