SEATTLE, WA — A single-vehicle collision into a building Friday evening in downtown Seattle left a 66-year-old man hospitalized, according to KOMO News.
The incident unfolded in the area of 5th Avenue and University Street at about 4:35 p.m.
While the cause of the accident remains under investigation, officials indicated that the man was driving a Tesla when he crashed the vehicle into a nearby building.
First responders transported the male driver to an area hospital with unspecified injuries.
By 6:00 p.m., crews had towed the wrecked car from the structure.
No pending charges have been reported as of this writing.
