SEATTLE, WA — Officers were dispatched to the scene of a hit-and-run crash Tuesday afternoon on 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department call log.
The incident was reported in the 1000 block of the road, near the Seattle Public Library’s Main Branch. Police dispatchers first received the call at around 2:06 p.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but officials indicated at least one party fled the scene before West Precinct officers and first responders arrived on the scene.
The incident was listed as a “non-injury” event, but the circumstances of the crash and the number of parties involved remain undisclosed.
The department has not released a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect at this time.
