SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident was reported late Tuesday morning on the Ballard Bridge heading into Seattle’s Interbay neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The crash unfolded on the southbound lanes of the bridge and was first reported at 10:28 a.m.
Although details about the circumstances of the event remain limited, the right southbound lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath. Motorists were asked to use extra caution as they approach the area.

As of 2:00 p.m., more than three hours later, local officials have not issued any updates about the scene nor confirmed any injuries.
