SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a collision Monday afternoon on 4th Avenue South in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident took place at the intersection with South Lander Street, near the United States Postal Service office. It was first reported by SDOT at 1:12 p.m.
While no information regarding the cause or nature of the crash has been made public, the right northbound lane of 4th Avenue South was closed for at least 1.5 hours, suggesting a more involved emergency response.
By 2:42 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were announced reopened.
