SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were dispatched to a collision Wednesday afternoon in east Seattle’s Cherry Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident occurred on the southbound lane of 23rd Avenue, south of East Cherry Street. It was first reported by SDOT at 3:40 p.m., when Seattle Police had already responded to the scene.
Details are limited, but officials indicated that the wreck had at least part of the southbound roadway blocked for nearly 30 minutes.
By 4:09 p.m., crews had cleared the scene and all lanes were announced reopened.
