SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a collision Monday night on 23rd Avenue East in Seattle’s Central District, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The crash happened just north of East Cherry Street and was first reported by SDOT at 8:13 p.m.
While details remain limited, the southbound lane of 23rd Avenue East was shut down for at least 15 minutes.
By 8:29 p.m., crews had removed the accident from the roadway, leaving all travel lanes open to the public.

It was not immediately apparent whether anyone suffered injuries and/or was taken to a hospital.
