SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were dispatched to a wreck Wednesday afternoon in West Seattle’s Riverview neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The crash happened on Highland Park Way Southwest at 2nd Avenue Southwest and was first reported by SDOT at 1:51 p.m.
Very few details have been made available, but the left westbound lane was blocked for at least 40 minutes following the initial report.

Shortly after 2:30 p.m., crews had cleared the scene from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to traffic.
