KING COUNTY, WA — Delays were reported Wednesday afternoon on northbound State Route 599/99 in Tukwila following a collision, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the northbound lanes just south of East Marginal Way, leaving the right lane blocked. It was first reported by WSDOT at 1:40 p.m.
Officials have not released a sequence of events leading up to the crash, but delays were anticipated in the area as Washington State Patrol troopers and local firefighters responded to the scene.
Video taken at the crash site suggests at least one vehicle crashed into the right-side guardrail before overturning onto the grassy median.
