SEATTLE, WA — Crews were dispatched to the scene of a crash with reported entrapment Monday morning in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The accident happened at the intersection of 7th Avenue and Blanchard Street, prompting an emergency response at around 8:00 a.m.
Authorities have not disclosed specific details about the collision, but one vehicle reportedly slammed into a commercial building, leaving at least one person trapped in the vehicle.

When Seattle Fire Department crews arrived on the scene a few minutes later, they learned that the trapped occupant was able to extricate themselves from the wreckage.
Following the crash, SFD crews have not identified any major structural damage to the building.
