SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday evening in south Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The accident happened at the intersection of South Bayview Street and Rainier Avenue South. Officers with the department’s South Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at about 4:07 p.m.
Dispatchers listed the incident as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) with no immediately reported injuries and no travel lanes blocked. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived.
As of this writing, the SPD has not issued a description of the hit-and-run vehicle or suspect.
