SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Wednesday evening in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident took place at the corner of Northeast 45th Street and Roosevelt Way East, a few blocks east of the Interstate 5 ramps. Officers with the department’s North Precinct were dispatched to the scene shortly before 7:00 p.m.
Few details have been disclosed, officials indicated that a truck was involved in a crash and one of the involved parties fled the scene before first responders arrived.
No major injuries or hospital transports were immediately reported.
