News: SPD responds to hit-and-run on 4th Ave in Seattle’s Belltown

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported late Wednesday afternoon in Seattle’s Belltown neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident took place at the corner of 4th Avenue and Battery Street, near Seattle Fire Station #2. Officers with the department’s West Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at 6:04 p.m.

At this time, authorities have not specified the circumstances of the event, but dispatchers indicated a truck was involved, and at least one party fled the scene before first responders arrived.
