News: SFD, SPD respond to collision on Sylvan Way in West Seattle

SEATTLE, WA — Part of Sylvan Way Southwest in West Seattle’s High Point neighborhood was closed in both directions Sunday evening following a crash, according to the West Seattle Blog.

The accident was reported at the intersection with Southwest Holly Street, near Triangle Park and Forest Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery. It was first reported by WSB at 6:20 p.m.

While the circumstances of the event have not been disclosed, Seattle Fire Department crews and Seattle Police were both dispatched to the scene. Reports from the scene indicate anywhere between two to four vehicles were involved.

Both northbound and southbound lanes were shut down during the emergency response and investigation.

It was not immediately apparent whether anyone was hurt or had to be taken to a hospital.
