SEATTLE, WA — An ambulance was called Tuesday morning after a car reversed into Queen Anne Beerhall in Seattle’s Uptown neighborhood, according to KOMO News.
Seattle Fire Department officials said crews were dispatched to the scene in the 200 block of West Thomas Street. By 11:28 a.m., one person who was left pinned between the building and the striking car had been extricated and was being medically evaluated. While the extent of the victim’s injuries was not immediately clear, an ambulance was observed responding to the scene.
At this time, it’s unclear what caused the driver to back into the building. Although officials said the building did sustain major structural damage, the public was instructed to avoid the area.
