The incident happened on the northbound highway, just south of 44th Avenue West, just after 12:00 a.m.

According to the Washington State Patrol (WSP), the woman was standing in one of the northbound lanes when she was hit by a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old Granite Falls woman.
