SEATTLE, WA — Major property damage was reported Wednesday night after a two-vehicle crash sent a King County Metro bus into a building in Seattle’s Atlantic neighborhood, reports FOX 13 Seattle.

The Seattle Police Department said the accident happened in the 1600 block of South Jackson Street, prompting an emergency response at about 6:00 p.m.

A preliminary investigation shows that a Route 14 bus was heading east on the road when a westbound vehicle made a turn in the bus’ path, causing the bus operator to swerve. Moments later, the bus crashed into the warehouse that houses the non-profit skateboarding organization “Skate Like a Girl.”

While no major injuries were reported, the bus remained wedged in the side of the building on Thursday evening, and appeared to have caused significant damage, forcing the non-profit to temporarily suspend its programming at the facility.

No charges have been reported as of this writing.
