SEATTLE, WA — Officers were dispatched to a hit-and-run crash Monday afternoon in downtown Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported at the corner of 9th Avenue and Columbia Street, near Frederic Ozanam House. Police dispatchers first received the call at 1:49 p.m.
Very few details have been made available, but officers with the department’s East Precinct responded to the scene of a crash involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before authorities arrived.
At this time, the SPD has not reported any major injuries connected to the event or released a description of the fleeing vehicle.
