WEST SEATTLE, WA — A 10-year-old girl was hospitalized last Friday afternoon, January 26, following a multi-vehicle accident in West Seattle’s Highland Park area, reports West Seattle Blog.
The crash happened at the intersection of 8th and Roxbury. Dispatchers were first alerted some time before 2:41 p.m.
While the cause and nature of the wreck remains unclear, three tow trucks were requested at the scene, suggesting significant damage to all three vehicles.
Seattle Fire Department officials confirmed that a 10-year-old girl was transported to a local hospital via private ambulance. While the extent of her injuries was not disclosed, she was in stable condition at the time of transport.
At least part of the intersection was shut down in the aftermath, but by 3:22 p.m, the scene had been cleared and all lanes were reopened to normal traffic.
