SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were dispatched to a wreck Tuesday night in north Seattle’s Bitter Lake neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident took place at the intersection with North 117th Street and was first recorded by SDOT at 8:46 p.m.
It was not immediately apparent what caused the crash or how many vehicles were impacted, but both northbound and southbound lanes of Greenwood Avenue were blocked at the time of the initial report. Motorists were asked to find alternate routes.
While local agencies have not confirmed any injuries in the incident, at least one fire engine and at least one ambulance appeared to have responded to the scene, as shown by photos captured in the area.
