SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident was reported Tuesday afternoon on Mercer Street in Seattle’s South Lake Union neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred at the corner of Mercer Street and Terry Avenue North, leaving the intersection partially blocked. It was first recorded by SDOT at 3:11 p.m.
While very few details have been released, a photo taken at the scene shows at least one fire engine responding.
By 3:57 p.m., more than 40 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, leaving all lanes open to the public.
