SEATTLE, WA — Authorities were called to a vehicle crash Monday evening in southeast Seattle’s North Beacon Hill neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on 23rd Avenue South at Rainier Avenue South. It was first reported by SDOT at 5:57 p.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but all northbound lanes of 23rd Avenue South were shut down in the immediate aftermath. Motorists were urged to find alternate routes around the area.

By 6:50 p.m., nearly an hour later, all lanes were announced reopened to the public.
