PIERCE COUNTY, WA — Seven vehicles were involved in a collision Wednesday morning near DuPont that left one person injured, according to FOX 13 Seattle.
The Washington State Patrol reported the pileup on the northbound lanes of I-5 at around 7:37 a.m.
While the cause of the accident remains undisclosed, troopers confirmed that one person was transported to an area hospital with facial injuries believed to be non-life-threatening.
By 7:47 a.m., tow crews had cleared the scene from the roadway, leaving all travel lanes open to the public.
