SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Tuesday night near Hing Hay Park in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident occurred in the 500 block of 6th Avenue South, at the park’s southwest corner. Officers with the department’s West Precinct were dispatched to the scene at around 8:04 a.m.
Very few details have been released, but officials indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one party fled the scene before first responders arrived, qualifying the event as a hit-and-run.
As of this writing, no information about the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect has been made public.
No injuries were immediately reported.
