SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Tuesday afternoon near north Seattle’s Westminster Triangle neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported on Aurora Avenue North at the intersection with Roosevelt Way North. Officers with the SPD’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at around 3:34 p.m.
No information about the circumstances of the event has been made public, but dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving an unspecified truck. At least one of the involved parties also fled the scene before authorities arrived.
As of this writing, the department has not released a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
No major injuries or hospital transports were immediately reported.
