SEATTLE, WA — Commuters faced delays Tuesday morning following a crash on Interstate 5 in Seattle’s University District, according to the Seattle Fire Department.
The accident happened on the southbound lanes of I-5 Express approaching North 50th Street (Exit 169). It was first reported by the SFD at 9:21 a.m.
Officials did not say what led up to the crash or how many vehicles were impacted, but motorists were advised to find alternate routes as crews responded to the scene.
