SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported Wednesday evening following a hit-and-run crash on 2nd Avenue in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported at the intersection with Pine Street, near H Mart Downtown Seattle and a few blocks east of Pike Place Market. Officers with the department’s West Precinct were called to the area shortly after 8:00 p.m.
Detail are limited, but dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) that left at least one person with unspecified injuries. One of the involved parties fled the scene before first responders arrived, qualifying the event as a hit-and-run.
As of this writing, the SPD has not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
