SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported early Friday evening on 4th Avenue South in Seattle’s Industrial District, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The accident happened in the 4400 block of the road, near the Costco Wholesale store. Officers with the department’s South Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call at around 5:49 p.m.
Very few details have been released, but police dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) that resulted in unspecified injuries to at least one person. At least one of the involved parties also left the scene before authorities arrived, qualifying the incident as a hit-and-run.
As of this writing, the SPD has not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle or suspect.
