SEATTLE, WA — Crews were called to a vehicle crash late Tuesday morning on 5th Avenue Northeast in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident happened at the intersection with Northeast 102nd Street. It was first reported by SDOT at 11:13 a.m.
Authorities have not said what led up to the collision or what vehicles were involved, but both northbound and southbound lanes of 5th Avenue Northeast were shut down for nearly 30 minutes.
By 11:40 a.m., the scene had been cleared from the roadway and all lanes were reopened to normal traffic.
