SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle crash late Monday morning had an Interstate 5 exit ramp shut down in south Seattle, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on the ramp connecting northbound I-5 to Spokane Street and was first recorded by WSDOT at 10:55 a.m.
Very few details have been made public, but Washington State Patrol troopers and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) responded to the scene shortly after the crash.
Motorists were warned of delays in the area as officials worked to process the site.
UPDATE: A collision on the NB I-5 off-ramp to Spokane St in Seattle is blocking the ramp. State Patrol and Incident Response are on scene.
