KING COUNTY, WA — Authorities were alerted to a wreck Monday afternoon on State Route 18 in southwest Snoqualmie, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The accident happened on a stretch of the westbound highway just west of Interstate 90 and was first recorded by WSDOT at 4:25 p.m.
While the circumstances of the event remain undisclosed, the right westbound lane was blocked in the immediate aftermath.
By 4:38 p.m., Washington State Patrol troopers and WSDOT’s Incident Response Team (IRT) had arrived on the scene.
On westbound SR 18 west of I-90 near #Snoqualmie, the right lane is closed for a collision.

Authorities did not immediately confirm any injuries, but delays were anticipated in the area.
