SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Wednesday evening on Denny Way in Seattle’s Cascade neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident took place at the intersection with Westlake Avenue, just a block east of Denny Park. Officers with the department’s West Precinct received the call at 6:53 p.m.
Although officials have not specified the circumstances of the event, police dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties fled the scene before first responders arrived.
It was not immediately clear whether anyone was seriously injured, and as of this writing, the SPD has not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle.
