WEST SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday evening in West Seattle’s High Point neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident took place at the intersection of 25th Avenue Southwest and Southwest Brandon Street. Officers with the SPD’s Southwest Precinct responded to the scene after being alerted at around 7:26 p.m.
Authorities have not released information about the cause or nature of the event, but a driver in a truck was involved in a crash with another vehicle. One of the involved drivers then fled the scene before first responders arrived.
As of this writing, it’s unclear whether anyone sustained serious injuries and/or had to be taken to a hospital.
The department has not shared a description of the fleeing vehicle.
