SEATTLE, WA — A vehicle accident was reported late Thursday on 4th Avenue in downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The crash happened at the intersection with James Street, just west of Seattle City Hall. It was first reported by SDOT at 10:46 p.m.
Officials did not immediately specify the circumstances of the event, but the right northbound lane was closed in the immediate aftermath.

By 11:26 p.m., about 40 minutes later, crews had cleared the scene, restoring all lanes back to traffic.
It remains unclear whether anyone was hurt and/or had to be transported to a hospital.
