News: SPD called to hit-and-run on 103rd St near Northgate Station

SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run collision was reported Monday evening near north Seattle’s Northgate Station, according to the Seattle Police Department.

The incident took place in the 300 block of Northeast 103rd Street, just south of the shopping center and east of the Interstate 5 southbound onramp. Officers with the SPD’s North Precinct responded to the scene shortly after 6:11 p.m.

No information regarding the cause or nature of the wreck has been shared, but dispatchers indicated a truck was involved, and that at least one party fled the scene before first responders arrived.

As of this writing, the department has not confirmed any major injuries or released a description of the fleeing vehicle.
