SEATTLE, WA — At least one person was injured Thursday evening due to a hit-and-run collision in Seattle’s Pike/Pine neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident was reported in the 1500 block of 12th Avenue, about a block southeast of Cal Anderson Park. Officers with the department’s East Precinct responded to the scene shortly after receiving a call at 6:28 p.m.
Little information has been made available, but police dispatchers indicated a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) that resulted in unspecified injuries to at least one person. At least one of the involved parties also left the scene before first responders arrived.
As of this writing, officials have not issued a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
