KING COUNTY, WA — One person was hospitalized Friday morning after their vehicle rolled off an Interstate 90 overpass in north Issaquah, reports King 5.
The accident happened at 4th Avenue Northwest and was first reported by Eastside Fire and Rescue shortly after 8:30 a.m.
Officials did not say what caused the single vehicle to veer off the roadway and crash-land onto 4th Avenue Northwest directly below.
While the vehicle was left significant damaged, the driver survived the wreck with “non-life-threatening” injuries. The patient was rushed to a local hospital where their condition remains undisclosed.
An investigation remains underway, but a Washington State Patrol Public Information Officer confirmed that the driver’s license was suspended at the time of the crash.
