SEATTLE, WA — A 30-year-old man was left injured Wednesday following a road rage incident and crash at the Starbucks headquarters in Seattle’s SoDo neighborhood, reports KOMO News.
Seattle Police responded to the incident off Utah Avenue South, where the building was put on a temporary lockdown after gunshots were also reportedly fired. Employees at the store received emergency texts from the company shortly after.
While officials have not released a sequence of events leading up to the wreck and no one was hit by the gunfire, the driver who was involved in the road rage incident suffered injuries in a crash that had him end up inside the store.
The driver was wheeled out of the building and treated by Seattle Fire Department crews at the scene. He was then transported to Harborview Medical Center in stable condition.
No other major injuries have been reported following the event, and no information regarding charges have been shared.
