KING COUNTY, WA — A vehicle accident Friday afternoon had multiple lanes of Interstate 405 blocked in northeast Bellevue, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred on the northbound side of I-405, just north of State Route 520, and was first recorded by WSDOT at 2:10 p.m.
One left lane was initially blocked, but after emergency crews arrived on the scene, both toll lanes and the two left general-purpose lanes were closed.
Motorists were warned of traffic backups and advised to seek alternate routes.
Footage captured at the site shows multiple emergency vehicles responding, but officials have not released any information regarding injuries.

At 2:38 p.m., the scene had been moved from the interstate and all travel lanes were reopened to traffic.
