SEATTLE, WA — Authorities responded to a wreck Thursday afternoon near Swedish Hospital – First Hill Campus, east of downtown Seattle, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident, which left the right westbound lane of East James Way blocked at Broadway, was first reported by SDOT at 3:49 p.m.
It was unclear what caused the crash or how many vehicles were impacted, but the closure remained in place for about 40 minutes, suggesting a more involved emergency response.
