SEATTLE, WA — Crews were dispatched to a crash Monday afternoon on Rainier Avenue South in Seattle’s Atlantic neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The accident happened at the intersection with South Dearborn Street and was first reported by SDOT at 1:49 p.m., when first responders had already arrived on the scene.
Officials had both the northbound and southbound inside lanes of Rainier Avenue South shut down during the emergency response and investigation.
A photo taken at the site shows at least one fire engine responding, but it was not immediately clear whether anyone suffered serious injuries.

By 2:03 p.m. the scene had been moved from the roadway, leaving all travel lanes open to traffic.
