SEATTLE, WA — Crews were dispatched to a crash Wednesday evening that closed a section of 5th Avenue Northeast in Seattle’s Northgate neighborhood, according to the Seattle Department of Transportation.
The collision occurred at Northeast 100th Street, just south of Northgate Station. It was first recorded by SDOT at 6:50 p.m.
Little information has been made available at this time, but both northbound and southbound lanes were closed. Motorists were asked to avoid the area as officials responded to the scene.
