SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — Two people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon after being struck by a vehicle in the Perrinville area of Edmonds, reports FOX 13 Seattle.
The incident unfolded at the intersection of 76th Avenue West and Olympic View Drive at about 1:00 p.m.
Preliminary details indicate an elderly man was driving a vehicle that hit two pedestrians as they crossed the street.
Both victims were transported to Seattle’s Harborview Medical Center for unspecified injuries as the driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with officers.
A section of 76th Avenue was shut down during the response and investigation.
While the circumstances of the event remains unclear, authorities said impairment is not believed to be a factor. No charges have been reported at this time.
