SEATTLE, WA — A hit-and-run crash was reported Monday morning in north Seattle’s Phinney Ridge neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident took place on a stretch of Aurora Avenue North (State Route 99) at North 68th Street. Officers with the department’s North Precinct responded to the scene after receiving a call just after 4:00 p.m.
Few details have been disclosed, but dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) involving a truck. At least one of the involved parties left the scene before first responders arrived.
No injuries were immediately reported, and as of this writing, the SPD has not released a description of the fleeing vehicle and/or suspect.
