SEATTLE, WA — Injuries were reported following a hit-and-run collision Friday afternoon in southeast Seattle’s New Holly neighborhood, according to the Seattle Police Department.
The incident occurred at the intersection of South Willow Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Way South. Officers with the department’s South Precinct responded to the scene shortly after 2:43 p.m.
Very few details have been made available, but police dispatchers listed the event as a motor vehicle collision (“MVC”) that resulted in injuries to at least one person. One of the involved parties also fled the scene before first responders arrived.
At this time, authorities have not disclosed the extent of the injuries suffered, and a description of the fleeing vehicle has not been released.
