SNOHOMISH COUNTY, WA — At least one person lost their life early Friday when a vehicle overturned on Interstate 5 in Marysville during a police pursuit, reports KOMO News.
The fatal wreck occurred on the southbound side of I-5 at the offramp to State Route 528 (Marine Drive/Fourth Street), at about 2:30 a.m.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Marysville Police Department officers were pursuing a vehicle for undisclosed reasons when the fleeing vehicle was involved in a rollover crash at the exit ramp.
Authorities confirmed that the wreck resulted in at least one fatality.
The offramp was shut down for over six hours as the WSP conducted an investigation.
